The story
Curated By Alecia Marie was built on a belief I've held since my first event: that the feeling in a room is not an accident. It's a decision. Every transition, every detail, every moment of hospitality. someone designed that. Or they didn't. I'm here to make sure someone did.
My background is in community engagement management. I've led multi-day conferences, produced large-scale galas, and supported events serving 300+ attendees: sponsors, exhibitors, executive stakeholders, and all. I hold the Special Event Design Certificate from the PCMA Event Leadership Institute because I believe the best designers never stop learning.
I'm Maryland-based. I work with mission-driven organizations and entrepreneurs whose events have to mean something. And I show up to every engagement the same way. Calm, creative, and completely committed to the feeling you're after.

I keep a running record of every design decision and the reasoning behind it. Nothing gets lost between calls and nothing is left to chance.
